Multi-instrumentalist, producer, and engineer Vaughan Mason managed the 21st Century, who are best known for the classic Chicago soul ballad "Remember the Rain," a 1975 RCA single. After he moved from Chicago to New York, Mason became an audio engineer and worked on sessions for B.T. Express. A short-lived group he assembled, Vaughn Mason & Crew, signed with Brunswick Records.
