Vazz

Initially a post-punk duo with an ethereal sound that foreshadowed dream pop, Scotland's Vazz currently exists as a solo project, mainly concentrating on impressionistic piano works and ambient compositions. Multi-instrumentalist Hugh Small and vocalist Anna Howson issued a handful of limited cassette and vinyl releases during the 1980s, blending haunting vocals with flickering guitar riffs and skittering drum machine rhythms.
