Venera

Venera is an experimental electronic project rooted in improvisation, encompassing post-industrial and dark ambient textures. Comprising of Korn guitarist James Shaffer (aka Munky) and filmmaker/composer Chris Hunt, the duo additionally collaborated with musicians such as HEALTH and Deantoni Parks on their self-titled 2023 debut. Atlanta-based Hunt first met Shaffer in Los Angeles, where the Korn member resides, while the two were working on recording sessions with singer Xhoana X.
