Vérité's moody electro-pop is the brainchild of Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Kelsey Byrne. After scoring her first viral hit with 2014's "Strange Enough," she issued three self-released EPs - Echo, Sentiment, and Living -- before her 2016 cover of the 1975's "Somebody Else" became a massive streaming favorite, racking up over 100 million plays into the next decade. Her official debut Somewhere in Between landed in 2017; she followed with the contemplative sophomore LP New Skin in 2019.
