Biography
A post-hardcore/pop-punk unit from Santa Barbara, California featuring members of the Ataris and Lagwagon, Versus the World issued their eponymous debut album in 2005. Combining elements of pop-punk and post-hardcore, the group released their sophomore effort, Drink. Sing. Live. Love., in 2010, followed in 2015 by Homesick/Roadsick.
Versus the World was formed in 2005 by vocalist/songwriter Donald Spence and longtime Ataris bass player Mike Davenport. Prior to the band's formation, Spence and Davenport would periodically perform acoustically under the Pencapchew moniker. T...
