Biography
Argentinean singer/actress Violeta Rivas made her live debut while singing in a local theater at the age of five. After moving from her native town to Buenos Aires, the young artist started singing Italian traditional tunes in a radio show called La Pandilla Marilyn, broadcast by Radio Porteña. After studying vocalization, Violeta Rivas participated in a local contest, along with musician Carlos García, performing "Core'Ngrato." She came in first place and had the opportunity to sign with RCA in 1960, recording "La Luna, el Cielo y Tú," her first single, and working as a backu...
