Straightforward acoustic singer/songwriter Virginia breaks away from the folk tradition by injecting ambient swells into her pop-oriented songs. After growing up in the Midwest and travelling to California at the young age of 14, Virginia found herself transplanted to the East Coast circuit, playing in New York and New Jersey coffeehouses and bars.
