Named for a particularly violent branch of the nomadic Germanic Goths who helped bring about the fall of Rome during the Roman Empire's decline in the late fourth century, Salt Lake City, Utah's Visigoth specialize in skillfully crafted, fantasy-driven power metal that brings to mind bands like Manowar, Judas Priest, Dio, and Iron Maiden.
