Vivian Cook

Vivian Cook is a musician from California who makes indie pop that lands in a distinctive territory between singer/songwriter and rock musical. Raised in Palo Alto, she attended Georgetown University and earned degrees in theater and theology before heading to Los Angeles with the aim to record an album. Her full-length debut, The Long Shot, was named after the subject line of an e-mail she sent to R. Walt Vincent (Pete Yorn, Liz Phair) asking him to produce her first record.
