VoidCeremony is a technical, blackened death metal group with progressive tendencies, weaving together multiple extreme metal sub-genres into a sound that is both punitive and immersive, and anchored in occult mysticism. The band was founded in 2013 in Ramona, California, by guitarist/vocalist Garrett Johnson after the dissolution of his previous project, Portalgeist.
