San Francisco's Von Iva comprises vocalist Jillian Iva, bassist Elizabeth Davis, organist/keyboardist Becky Kupersmith, and drummer Kelly Harris. Prior to forming Von Iva, Davis spent seven years recording and touring with the riot grrrl band 7 Year Bitch. She and Harris also performed with the sci-fi rock outfit Clone for a short time, releasing one album, Not Feeling Quite Like Yourself Today?, in 1998. Five years later, Davis was hungry to start another group. Iva was performing with her boyfriend's band in a Bay Area club in early 2003 when Davis spotted the young vocalist...
