Wade Walton

b. 10 October 1923, Lombardy, Mississippi, USA, d. 10 January 2000, St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Walton was best known as a musical barber, entertaining visitors to his shop in Clarksdale, Mississippi, but he started in music in his youth, and toured with minstrel shows in his teens. A strong guitarist and harp player, he formed the Kings Of Rhythm with Clarksdale's most famous R&B artist, Ike Turner, but preferred to stay with his steady work when Turner moved on to a career as a professional musician.
