A Providence, Rhode Island-based rock outfit who hit it big in 1970 with the Top 10 single "Sweet Mary," Wadsworth Mansion issued a handful of singles and one full-length LP before calling it quits in 1972. Formed in 1970 around the talents of Steve Jablecki (vocals/guitar/keyboards), his brother Mike (drums), Wayne Gagnon (guitar), and John Poole (bass), the band wasted little in getting down to business by releasing "Sweet Mary."
