Founded by Kevin Thornton (vocals, guitar, piano, synthesizer), Enoch Porch (drums, vocals, synthesizer, guitar, piano), and Luke Aaron Jones (bass, vocals, piano), Waves on Waves started out in Indiana under the name Thornton before the group relocated to Nashville.
