Wesley Safadão

Wesley Oliveira "Safadão" da Silva is one of the most popular Brazilian forró singers of his generation. Born in Fortaleza in 1988, in the northeastern state of Ceará, Wesley developed an interest in music in a family environment. From playing and singing with cousins and brothers came the idea of forming a band, eventually going pro around 2004 under the name Garota Safada.
