California hardcore purists With or Without You rose from the ashes of previous bands Diehard Youth, when various members grew disillusioned enough to abandon the latter's upbeat style for a more realistic and dour worldview. Featuring vocalist Andy Frachere, lead guitarist Dave Priest, rhythm guitarist Rick Kuthie, bassist Grady Perkins, and drummer J.J. Baker, With or Without You attained a modest following touring up and down the West Coast, then released their debut mini-CD Six Reasons to Drop Out through Martyr Records in 2005. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
