XTRMST are a straight-edge hardcore band formed in 2012 by AFI lead vocalist Davey Havok and guitarist Jade Puget. Both musicians were drawn to the straight-edge lifestyle and music scene as teenagers and have adhered to the subculture's resolute philosophies of clean living (drug and alcohol free, veganism, etc.) throughout their adult lives.
