Yaakov Shwekey

A popular Orthodox Jewish recording artist and musical entertainer who performs under the name Shwekey, Yaakov Shwekey VII was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1977. His family moved to New Jersey when Shwekey was eight years old -- he spent his earliest years in Mexico City where he sang in the Ateret Yosef Choir. He began his musical endeavors in earnest in the United States with his brother Yisroel Meir, singing with the Miami Boys Choir.
