Born Carlos Yandre Martín Marrero in Bayamón in 2004, Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter Yan Block grew up immersed in urban culture: his father was a renowned music video maker and worked for many of the genre's stars. In his early teens, Yan Block began taking part in freestyle competitions and in 2019 released his first single, "Suelo."
