The band known as Yearning was formed by Finnish youths Juhani Palomäki (vocals/guitar/keyboards), Tero Kalliomäki (guitars), and Toni Kostiainen (drums) in late 1994, and originally went by the name Flegeton, which was derived from Dante's Divine Comedy.
