Young-Ah Tak

Pianist Young-Ah Tak performs internationally as a soloist and chamber music player, all while keeping up a busy schedule as an educator. She attended high school in the U.S. before going on to attend top music schools in that country through the doctoral level. Tak is on the faculty at the State University of New York at Potsdam. She has issued several albums on the Steinway & Sons label, including one of Schubert piano sonatas in 2024. Tak grew up in Busan, South Korea.
