Biography

One of the most important proponents of the rock-rural style, Zé Rodrix is the composer of "Casa no Campo," recorded with success by Elis Regina. He also participated in the historic III FMPB (TV Record's Festival of Brazilian Popular Music) accompanying Edu Lobo, the Quarteto Novo, and Marília Medalha on "Ponteio" (Edu Lobo/Capinam) with his group Momento-4 in 1967. From 1969 to 1971, Rodrix was a member of the Som Imaginário group that accompanied Milton Nascimento and Gal Costa.
