Zoltán Kodály

The techniques and teachings of Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodaly (pronounced: ko-die) revolutionized public school music education. Emphasizing songs from the folk tradition, Kodaly laid down the foundation for teaching youngsters to enjoy and understand music.
