Zooey Celeste sets angsty, character-driven reflections against an atmospheric, lo-fi pop injected with washes of art rock, chamber pop, and post-punk. A companion work to a metaphysical novel, his Nick Hakim-produced debut album, Restless Thoughts, appeared in 2023. Raised in Southern California, Zooey Celeste started writing songs after hearing the Beatles for the first time at the age of eight.
