According to Bobby Brown, his ex-wife Whitney Houston was bisexual.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the New Edition group member revealed this shocking news. When Whitney was alive, rumors swirled that her friend and assistant, Robyn Crawford, and her were in an intimate relationship. Bobby said that these claims are factual.

“I know,” he told Us. “We were married for 14 years. There are some things we talked about that were personal to us.” It turns out that Whitney and Robyn met as teens. Both working at a community center in East Orange, New Jersey, they instantly became close. When the vocal powerhouse blew up, she hired Robyn as her assistant, and then later her creative director.

Bobby insisted that his ex was not a lesbian, though, due to her feelings towards him. “I’m a man and she was attracted to me!” he said. The former hubby also revealed that he believes Whitney didn't go public with her relationship with Robyn because her religious family would have disapproved. This could have been very true because in 2013, Oprah asked Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, if she would've been upset if her daughter came out as gay. Cissy replied, "Absolutely."

Bobby thinks that if Robyn and Whitney were still close, the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" singer would still be here today. “I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney’s life, Whitney would still be alive today. She didn’t have close friends with her anymore,” he admitted.
