Bobby Brown: A Priest Tried To Molest Me When I Was 10

In his new memoir, "Every Little Step," Bobby Brown opened up about a lot of different moments in both his childhood and adulthood, that spaced him into the man he is today, for better or worse.
He's literally an open book through the entire piece of work. There was one thing that Bobby spoke about, however, that really shocked me when I read it. In his book, the singer revealed that he was violated by a priest when he was a child.
The New Edition group mate, along with two of his sisters, were sent to stay in a Catholic Church for about a week or so, when his mother got arrested--apparently, he found out that she was a drug dealer.
That's when the leader of the church tried to touch him inappropriately. "After I had been there for several days, something horrible happened to me. One of the priests who worked with the children brought me into a room," he wrote in his book. "To my utter shock, he tried to touch my privates and attempted to stick his finger in my a**."
He added: "I punched him really hard in his face and ran away from him...I felt vulnerable and unprotected, wondering where my father was and how he and my siblings could let this man touch me."
Bobby later added that he, unfortunately, never told his parents. "After I got back home, I really wanted to tell my mother what had happened to me, but I could never find the words to do so."
But, Bobby's mom knew something was up. "I think she could tell that something was different about me, but perhaps she felt it was due to her being beat up and dragged to prison, so her guilt kept her silent," he said.
