Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds may have lost the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2006, but the pop titan's catalogue standout is set to receive an honorary award 10 years after its release.
Late last week, JT's official website revealed that he's set to receive the first ever Teen Choice Decade Award for the sophomore set, which was released on September 8, 2006 and propelled "SexyBack," My Love," "What Goes Around... Comes Around" into hit territory.
"Ten years ago in 2006, Justin released his sophomore solo album FutureSex/LoveSounds. That spectacular album yielded six singles with chart success, including three #1 hits in the U.S. The Teen Choice Decade Award is both a celebration of that milestone event and a celebration of Justin’s constant evolution and relevancy as an artist and to this audience," the website note reads.
In addition to his honorary award, Justin's "Can't Stop The Feeling" is also nominated for Choice Party Song, Choice Song from a Movie or TV Show, and Choice Summer Song. Make sure you cast your votes for the Teen Choice Awards right here.
The 2016 Teen Choice Awards will air live from the Forum in Los Angeles on July 31 on FOX.
