Selma Blair was removed from a plane on Monday after an alleged drug- and alcohol-fueled outburst, and then forcibly hospitalized.

Blair was traveling from Cancun to Los Angeles when the incident occurred. The actress, seated in First Class, was allegedly seen mixing wine and prescription drugs by putting an unidentified substance into her beverage. It’s said Blair then began crying, and making bizarre statements.

TMZ quotes the star as saying, “He burns my private parts,” “He won’t let me eat or drink,” “He beats me,” and “He’s going to kill me.” Obviously concerned for her well-being, the site says the flight’s pilot contacted LAX about a passenger having some kind of episode. When the plane landed, medical personnel came on board, and Blair was removed via stretcher.

She was then taken to a local hospital. A source tells People, “She was met by paramedics at LAX as soon as her plane arrived. It looks like she had taken a combination of prescription medication with alcohol. We don’t know what sort of prescription medications.”

Gossip Cop reached out to the star’s manager, but did not immediately hear back. Blair is mom to 4-year-old son Arthur, whom she had with former partner Jason Bleick. The couple separated in 2012. She was previously wed to Ahmet Zappa from 2004 to 2006.

Blair appeared on-screen earlier this year as Kris Jenner on “American Crime Story: The People V O.J. Simpson.” The actress last tweeted on Thursday, posting a photo of herself and Arthur on a plane. “We’re leaving on a jet plane. Dad is already asleep. Not for long. Bwahahahha. #fathersdayweekend,” she wrote on Instagram.

It’s not clear if he was with her on this return flight. Blair is pictured above last Tuesday at a “Women In Film” event. Gossip Cop will have updates.
