Rihanna Defies Gravity In Preview For 'Sledgehammer' (VIDEO)

Just a couple of days after unveiling "Sledgehammer," Rihanna is ready to unleash the music video for the power ballad, which serves as the lead single off the upcoming Star Trek Beyond soundtrack.

On Wednesday morning (June 29), the pop titan shared a brief 27-second teaser of the clip, which features her showing off some superhuman powers in a place that is probably not Earth. "Sledgehammer" will premiere on Thursday morning as the first-ever IMAX video debut, but there are no details on where exactly this premiere will take place. An hour later it will hit VEVO at 10 a.m. ET.

Star Trek stars Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana recently thanked Rih for helping them cope with Anton Yelchin’s tragic death. "After such an unimaginably sad week for our star trek family - @badgalriri brings some light into the darkness," Quinto wrote on Instagram.

Saldana took to social media, writing, "Thank you @badgalriri, for a beautiful song during one of the most difficult times for our StarTrek family. We know Anton would be proud."
