Jacob Whitesides is gearing up to release his brand-new single, "Focus," and iHeartRadio took an exclusive look at the making of the music video with our very own Paul Costabile in yet another installment of Crashing The Set.
Back in May, Paul met up with the 18-year-old singer/songwriter in downtown Los Angeles for the Chris Crutchfield-directed video shoot, which saw the former "X Factor" contestant give us all the 2001 Britney Spears vibes. "We have a full-sized python coming in," he said. "Honestly, I'm looking forward to them watching me conquer my snake fear. I'm terrified of snakes and I feel like that's a pretty common fear, so I feel like the viewers will be extra afraid with me and that'll make me more comfortable."
When it comes down to about "Focus," let's just say that it's much easier for Jacob to work on videos for tunes he loves. "It's actually one of my favorite songs from the album, so I'm glad," he admitted. "It makes it a lot easier to shoot music videos for songs that you're in love with because you hear them over and over and over again."
