The Pretty Reckless New 2016 Song

After two years, The Pretty Reckless are back with brand new rock music. Following their 2014 sophomore studio album, the band has been hard at work on their new album Going To Hell, and are now sharing the first single from the record, "Take Me Down," and we have the world premiere of the track for you to listen to right here.

"Take Me Down" possesses that The Pretty Reckless rock sound you love the band for with heavy guitar riffs and Taylor Momsen's powerful voice in the track's chorus where she repeatedly sings lyrics "Take Me Down," but is also complimented by the melody making it just a little bit soulful as well -- even adding a very little bit of the organ in places.

About The Pretty Reckless's New Single "Take Me Down"

"Take Me Down" is the first single off of The Pretty Reckless's forthcoming third studio album, which is expected to be released sometime in the fall. Their previous album won multiple accolades including hitting No. 1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, and based on the new songs, we are sure this upcoming record will be just as successful. The newly released single was produced by the band's longtime collaborator Kato Khandwala, and fans can expect that familiar scorching, raw rock sound, with soulful and bluesy undertones.

Earlier this week, The Pretty Reckless, and the band's frontwoman Taylor Momsen, announced their new single via social media, also sharing the song's artwork. The "Take Me Down" cover art features a red demonic hand with long black fingernails, shaking a mere mortal human's hand.
