Three Characters Removed From Sesame Street Show

The axe is falling for some long-time Sesame Street characters. Bob the music teacher, Gordon the science teacher, and Luis the "Mr. Fix-It" have all been fired. The characters played by Bob McGrath, Roscoe Orman, and Emilio Delgado were removed from the show after decades of episodes.

McGrath said the show cut almost all of its human cast members, as it's undergoing a big change. He says HBO has been reworking the PBS series for a new audience of more tech-savvy kids. Sesame Street will also be going from an hour to a half-hour.
