INTERVIEW: Chris Lane Gives His Girl Problems Reactions in 'That Moment When...'

We were first introduced to rising Country star Chris Lane through his hit single "Fix," which hit the top 10 on the US Country chart and No. 4 on the US Country Airplay chart, and became the most added song on Country radio nationwide shortly after its release late last year. Then, we got even more of our Chris Lane "fix" when his EP of the same name was released last fall and shot up to No. 4 on the Top Heatseekers chart. Now, Chris has finally released his 12-track debut studio album Girl Problems (on August 5th) via Big Loud Records. The new record was produced by Joey Moi (who has worked with Florida Georgia Line and Jake Owen) and includes his hit single "Fix" and a cover of "Let Me Love" you by R&B singer Mario.

Chris on Making His Album 'Girl Problems'

"Putting my debut record together was something that was really special.," Chris tells iHeartRadio. "It was exciting to kinda work through a lot of things and to figure out what kind of sound I wanted and what kind of songs I wanted to write and record. For me, that was the exciting part, and to be able to watch these songs come alive in the studio and now hopefully on the stage, I can't wait for that."

While he was at iHeartRadio HQ, we played "That Moment When" with Chris, using lyrics from songs on his debut album Girl Problems as inspiration to recreate real life situations a person might go through when encountering their own girl problems. Then, we asked him to choose the emoji that best reflected how he feels, and explain why.
