Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei has had enough of online trolls.

The singer announced today (August 6) that she will be "taking a break" from Twitter after being the target of hateful messages on the social networking site.

“I’ve never been one to deny anyone of their opinions, but over the course of this last week and especially over the last 48 hours I’ve not just been cyber bullied, I’ve been racially cyber bullied with tweets and pictures so horrific and racially charged that [I] can’t subject myself any longer to the hate.” the 20-year-old said in a message posted to Twitter. Normani also thanked Twitter for “immediately jumping into action” after being made aware of cyber abuse.

We're glad to hear Normani is standing up for herself against cyberbullying. No one deserves to go through this.

UPDATE (Aug 8): The other members of Fifth Harmony and JoJo (who's opening for them on their 7/27 Tour) have spoken out in defense of Normani.
