A Collaboration Wishlist For Zedd's 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival Performance

Over the course of his career so far, producer/DJ Zedd has collaborated with many different artists. From Paramore's Hayley Williams on "Stay The Night," to his recent single with Aloe Blacc "Candyman," to his hit with Selena Gomez "I Want You To Know," and songs on both of his albums featuring artists like Logic, X Ambassadors, Jon Bellion, and Echosmith, the 26-year-old has produced a lot of amazing music over the last few years.
With his upcoming performance at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September, we can only imagine who he could possibly bring out on stage with him -- we are certainly crossing our fingers. Hey, he DID bring out Selena Gomez during last year's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball! And it was AWESOME. Take a look below at some of the on-stage collaboration performances that COULD possibly happen...
Hailee Steinfeld
Just recently, in July, Hailee Steinfeld released her latest single "Starving," which features Zedd and production duo Grey. Hailee is performing at The Daytime Village at the iHeartRadio Music Festival during the day on Saturday, September 24th, in between nights one and two of the festival main stage. We don't know about you, but you we are STARVING for these two to perform this song live. #HAIZEDD
Ariana Grande
Two years later, and we're still obsessed with Ariana Grande and Zedd's 2014 collaboration "Break Free." The song appeared on Ari's album My Everything, and hit No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart, No. 3 on the US Dance Club Songs Chart, and No. 4 on the US Mainstream Top 40 and Hot 100 Charts. Coincidentally, both Zedd and Ariana are both on the lineup at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Could Ari come out during Zedd's set? Will he come out during hers?! PLEASE?!
Troye Sivan
On his 2015 album True Colors, Zedd's third single off the record is a song called "Papercut" featuring Troye Sivan. The song is really a gem from the producer's most recent album, and the collaboration actually happened via Twitter. Last September, Troye told us during an interview, "It just turns out that he was a big fan of 'Happy Little Pill,' which was the single off my last EP. I went into the studio, and just recorded the vocal, and kind of hoped for the best, and he really, really liked it. It's the craziest thing that's ever happened to me."
Troye will be performing during the Daytime Village at the iHeartRadio Music Festival this year. Could be possibly make an appearance during Zedd's main stage set? WE HOPE SO. 🙏
Ryan Tedder
If you're not familiar with Zedd's first album Clarity, there is a song on the record featuring OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder called "Lost At Sea," and its insanely addictive. It may be an older song of Zedd's, but it's entirely possible to see a live performance of this, since OneRepublic is also performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival this year.
Kesha
OK, this is very wishful thinking here. But how AMAZING would it be if Kesha performed "True Colors" with Zedd. The two collaborated this year on a cover of the song, originally included on Zedd's album of the same name (and originally featuring vocals of singer/songwriter Tim James). They performed the song together during Coachella earlier this year, and Kesha IS touring again at the moment. A stop in Vegas at the iHeartRadio Music Festival would be amazing.
While we're on the subject of wishful thinking, Zedd's been in the studio with a few other amazing musicians as of late, including Iggy Azalea and Jared Leto. Could we be hearing some new music from Zedd during his iHeartRadio Music Festival set? Only time will tell.
