On Saturday night, Blake Shelton was playing the second of two shows in Oklahoma City's Chesapeake Energy Arena when he stopped the concert for a special reason.

After bringing several people up on stage with him, Blake explained that last year, his cousin's daughter Aspen was diagnosed with cancer. She was treated at a local children's hospital, OU Medical Center’s Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Children.

Blake said, "They don’t turn any kids away. You come in there, you got a problem, they don’t turn anybody away, so I thought, ‘That’s a place that needs some money.'" He finished by saying that he was donating the proceeds from both of his concerts that weekend to the children's hospital.

The crowd erupted as Blake proceeded to sign a massive check for $600,000.
