Emmys Winners 2016 – Full Emmy Awards Winner List

Sunday’s 2016 Emmys honor the best in television. Check out a full list of the winners below!

Now in its 68th year, the Emmy Awards recognize distinguished achievements in the TV industry. That includes not just performances, but writing, directing and more. The scope is limited to primetime programming, and eligibility for this year’s honors ran from June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016.

As Gossip Cop reported, nominations were announced in July. “Game Of Thrones” led the way with 23 nominations, including technical categories. Many of those honors were handed out at the Creative Arts ceremonies, which were held over the last two weekends. Limiting the focus to just tonight’s major awards, “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” has the most nominations with 13 nods.

That said, as a limited series, the critically-acclaimed show is not up for the night’s top award. Competing for Outstanding Drama Series are “The Americans,” “Better Call Saul,” “Downton Abbey,” “Game Of Thrones,” “Homeland,” “House Of Cards,” and “Mr. Robot.” On the comedy side, the contenders are “Black-ish,” “Master Of None,” “Modern Family,” “Silicon Valley,” “Transparent,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” and “Veep.”

Unsurprisingly, the nominees for lead and supporting actors primarily come from those shows, with a few others mixed in. However things shake out, Gossip Cop will be updating the winners list live as each award is announced. In the meantime, check out all the categories below!
