3 iHeartRadio Editors Recreate Ariana Grande's Music Video Makeup

Ariana Grande has pulled off several different looks throughout her music videos. From her space-inspired makeup in "Break Free," to letting her hair down from her signature ponytail in "Into You" and "Dangerous Woman," to her white hair in "Focus," no matter what she's wearing, how her hair is, or what her makeup looks like, Ari always looks amazing -- and we can't wait to see her perform during the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas (which is in less than a week!). So in anticipation of Ariana's performance, a few of us at iHeartRadio recreated some of the pop star's best makeup looks from her music videos.

A few of the ladies here at iHeartRadio, myself included, were asked to choose our favorite music video look of Ariana's for two very talented makeup artists to recreate, and streamed it via Facebook Live. The end result? Let's just say we were feeling like some dangerous women when all was said and done. Makeup artists Jonny Polizzi and Ruthie Weems from Chic Studios, who recently did makeup for Beyoncé and Britney's backup dancers -- and DJ Khaled -- at this year's MTV VMAs, came to iHeartRadio HQ in New York City to transform the three of us into Ari. Check it out:

Nicole, Entertainment Editor - "Side To Side"

Why she chose this look: "I picked Ari's look from her new 'Side To Side' music video because it's a different look for her. I loved her hair in this video with the two pieces in the front ... and also that pink eye shadow! She looks awesome in all of her music videos, but especially this one."

How she felt once transformed into Ariana: "Jonny and Ruthie did an AMAZING job with this look. I felt like I could could transport myself into the music video and cycle it up, despite the fact that that's not what this song is really about. But, bottom line, I felt beautiful, and I loved my makeup -- especially my lashes (as always)."

Favorite Ariana song(s): "I have many favorite Ariana Grande songs. I'm a big fan of hers and have been since her "Victorious" days (throwback!!). Right now, 'Side to Side' is one of my favorites because it just gives me LIFE when I'm doing cardio at the gym everyday. I also love "Best Mistake" and "You Don't Know Me" from My Everything. BUT, two of my favorites of all time are actually deep cuts from My Everything, "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart" and the record's title track, "My Everything." Those two songs are so vulnerable, and emotional, and beautiful."

Tracy, Director of Social Media & Content - "Love Me Harder"

Why she chose this look: "I did 'Love Me Harder.' It's the scene where, she's writhing around on the bed. I just really loved the makeup in that section because it was super glam. It had a really fun winged eye, and then also a dramatic lip, which I'm not used to doing. So I thought it would be fun to try it out."

How she felt once transformed into Ariana: "I felt like a glamorous superstar. I felt like I could walk on stage, and everyone would believe me because I looked the part. It was really really fun, and they wear a lot of makeup."

Favorite Ariana song(s): "You know what, this is new, but I feel like 'Side To Side' is her best song ever. I love it. I think it's so good. I like a lot of Ariana songs. I love 'Problem,' but I think 'Side To Side' is such a smash. I think it's her biggest song ever."

Rachel, Photo Editor - "Focus"

Why she chose this look: "I chose 'Focus' because I asked James [our co-worker], and James is my go-to for all of these makeup looks. He helped me choose the Britney Spears makeup look from 'Stronger,' and then he helped me choose this one. He said it was colorful, and would look nice, and it did. I was very happy with it."

How she felt once transformed into Ariana: "I felt amazing. Thank god for Johnny and Ruthie, because whenever I see them, it's just the best day of the week because I never look like that."

Favorite Ariana song(s): "'Side to Side' is so good. But if 'Side to Side' wasn't out, I would say 'Into You.'"
