Watch Lady Gaga Mosh Her Way Through 'Perfect Illusion' Video

Just a day after her respectable debut on the Billboard Hot 100, Lady Gaga’s campaign for "Perfect Illusion" continued with the release of the music video for the comeback track, which debuted on Tuesday night (September 20) during the season two premiere of FOX's "Scream Queens."

Directed by fashion photographer Ruth Hogben, "Perfect Illusion" sees the pop titan in her most natural state: with a good ol' microphone in her hand. Gaga kicks off the three-minute visual in her jeep as she makes way through one angsty ride in the desert, leading to a crowd as chaotic as Coachella. It's a full out mosh pit from there, with the pop star jumping and thrashing around with her band ... until the very last moments when you realize maybe the whole mosh action was a, well, perfect illusion.

Prior to the release, Mother Monster described the clip as one of her more stripped back visuals. "The video is very simple. A raw performance of the song, just me and a crowd," she explained.
