***VIDEO CONTAINS SOME PROFANE LANGUAGE***

Plenty of people hold up signs asking rockers to do something or perform something, but they are usually ignored, however, one Alice in Chains fan got very lucky when the band took his request and let him play with them.

Throughout the group's entire gig in Charleston, South Carolina, Kurt Friedenberger held up a t-shirt that read "Let me play drums on 'Would?'" The final song of their encore turned out to be the 1992 classic and they brought Kurt onstage for it. Drummer Sean Kinney stood aside and Kurt took his spot behind the kit, doing a solid job on the song.

According to the band's website, in the early days, Sean used to bring people up for solos or to play a song. Guitarist Jerry Cantrell explained, "No one ever made it all the way through. They'd always get nervous and flame out." But not Kurt. Now if ever Sean is sick, the band knows who to call. No word on if audience members will play at any future shows but you can get all of AIC's upcoming dates here.
