It's been a while since we heard any new music from the boys in Avenged Sevenfold. Besides playing festival gigs over the summer, they've been quiet when it came to new material, a release date for the new album, and any future plans. Then something weird started happening. Their iconic logo, the Death Bat, has been popping up all over the world.
The folks over at Metalsucks.net pointed out the first big name to notice the Death bat logo was WWE's Chris Jericho, who spotted it projected on Toronto's Rogers Centre.
Death Bats have been spotted in London, Berlin, Camden, and other cities. Oddly, there hasn't been one seen in the United States. Check out some of the spottings below.

The band has been silent about the viral campaign but they definitely have something up their sleeve. It may be a tour, a new album, or something completely different. Either way, we're excited.
