Maroon 5's 'Don't Wanna Know' Visual Is Pokemon Go Inspired (VIDEO)
October 14, 2016
Remember the days of Pokemon go? When you would run all over town trying capture rare Pokemon? Did you ever stop to think how these Pokemon even felt? Did they WANT to be caught? Well, Pokemon have feelings too, and it's clear to see in Maroon 5's latest music video for their new single "Don't Wanna Know." The video is inspired by the popular game, and it's amazing.
First of all, BEHOLD. ADAM LEVINE IN COSTUME. And doing yoga:
He, along with the rest of Maroon 5, are on the run from kids trying to "catch 'em all."
And he's in love with this orange-looking creature (played by Sarah Silverman).
Speaking of which, there are several celebrity cameos in Maroon 5's "Don't Wanna Know" music video, including Ed Helms (who sadly ends up getting captured by the hoard of teens), and Vince Vaughn. In fact, at the end of the video, Adam and Vince share what it's like to constantly be on the run, over a drink at the bar.
"Don't Wanna Know" is Maroon 5's latest single, and the first new music we've heard from the band since they released their 2014 album V. This week, the group revealed their new single, on which they teamed up on with one of the most in-demand rappers in the game right now: Kendrick Lamar.
