Sofia stopped by iHeartRadio HQ in New York City to perform her addictive tune during iHeartRadio Live Sessions Presented by Ulta Beauty, and also gave us a little preview of her next single called "Rhythm To My Heart." Bastian also answered some questions during a special Q&A before her amazing performance.
"Blind Ambition" was inspired by a feud with a friend of hers -- or "frienemy" as she puts it. She says:
"I started writing that song when I had a little bit of beef with some girlfriends, or some unspoken kind of beef. School yard type of stuff, where you’re friends, but frienemies. You don’t really talk about it, but … there’s a lot of looks and stuff. Anyway, it was kind of petty, obviously. But it did bother me so much that I needed to write, sit down and channel it into that fantasy of how I was gonna come back, and let them know what’s good."
