Ben Roethlisberger Undergoes Surgery To Repair Torn Meniscus

October 17, 2016

The Pittsburgh Steelers will not have their star QB Ben Roethlisberger in their week 7 matchup with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Roethlisberger will miss at least one game while recovering from left knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

Roethlisberger, who sat out one series in the second quarter in the Steelers' stunning 30-15 loss to the last-place Dolphins, returned in the third but finished 19 of 34 for 189 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Miami was led by Jay Ajayi, who rushed for a career-high 204 yards and scored twice.
