Andy Grammer Shares Heartwarming 'Fresh Eyes' Visual (VIDEO)

Sometimes, we all need to look at the world with a pair of fresh eyes, and no one knows this better than singer/songwriter Andy Grammer. The 32-year-old has a new single out called "Fresh Eyes," and is now sharing his moving music video to go along with the song -- and it will give you MAJOR feels. Like, you will probably need a box of tissues close by.
The music video for "Fresh Eyes" focuses on the homelessness issue in Los Angeles, and in the visual, Andy takes us to Skid Row and the Union Rescue Mission. As the video says, more than 100 million people in the world are homeless, and 45,000 are in LA. The Union Rescue Mission is the west coast city's longest-running homeless shelter, and 1,100 homeless people seek shelter there every night.
As the camera pans down the street, we see pitched tents and make-shift shelter as Andy walks into the homeless shelter, and talks to a handful of the people seeking help there. Following their conversations, he brings them into a trailer where they are treated to makeovers with haircuts, new clothes, and makeup (for the ladies). Andy gave these people the opportunity to see themselves with fresh eyes, and their reactions are truly touching.
The Union Rescue Mission provides emergency shelter, meals, health and dental care, a legal clinic, and recovery and transitional housing programs for the thousands of people who walk through its doors daily.
If you didn't already know, Andy spent a large amount of time as a street performer, and performed on the streets of Santa Monica, where he first started interacting with the homeless community. Homelessness has been an issue that Andy is very passionate about, and hopes to raise money and awareness with his new music video. At the end of the clip, Andy says:
"Homelessness has been an issue that I've cared a lot about for a while now, and getting to apply the 'Fresh Eyes' concept to this population of people, who are way too often marginalized or even seen as invisible, was a super powerful experience. All the proceeds of this video are going to go to the Union Rescue Mission in downtown Los Angeles.
