Blue Jays Beat Indians To Avoid ALCS Sweep

October 19, 2016

The Toronto Blue Jays are still alive in the American League Championship Series.  They beat the Cleveland Indians 5-1 in Game Four in Toronto.  Josh Donaldson homered and Edwin Encarnacion had a two-run single to help the Jays stave off elimination.

Aaron Sanchez fired six innings of one-run, two-hit ball for the win.  Corey Kluber yielded two runs in five frames to suffer the loss.  Roberto Perez doubled in the lone run for the Tribe, which still leads the best-of-seven series three-games-to-one.  Game Five is Wednesday in Toronto.
