Fifth Harmony, Shakira, Green Day & More Added To AMA Performance Lineup

October 27, 2016

As with every year, the 2016 American Music Awards have kicked into high gear with a hefty performance lineup. On Thursday (October 27), they beefed up the roster with names like Fifth Harmony, Shakira, Green Day, Twenty One Pilots and more for the anticipated November ceremony.

While 5H will be performing their latest single, "That's My Girl," Shakira will make a comeback of sorts when the Colombian singer takes the stage alongside Carlos Vives. In addition, Green Day and Twenty One Pilots will rep for the rock genre. Viewers will also be treated to numbers by James Bay as well a performance featuring The Chainsmokers alongside Halsey.

Folks behind the AMA ceremony previously announced numbers by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. It would also make sense for Drake to perform, considering the Young Money MC is up for 13 nominations, beating a 32-year record for the most AMA nods in a year. Michael Jackson previously hit an all-time peak with 11 back in 1984.

Clear your calendar. The 2016 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
