Carrie Underwood Rocks Out With Her 'Dirty Laundry' During CMA Performance (VIDEO)

“Dirty Laundry” is the fourth and current single from Underwood’s Storyteller album. The record, which came out a year ago, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and at number one on the Top Country Albums chart. In January, the superstar embarked on her “Storyteller Tour: Stories in the Round” concerts, with “Dirty Laundry” included in the set list.

The track, like Underwood’s hit “Before He Cheats,” is about infidelity. The “American Idol” winner performed it on TV for the first time this past September during an “Ellen DeGeneres Show” appearance, and the song’s music video came out just last month. While “Dirty Laundry” hasn’t found much crossover success on the Billboard Hot 100, it’s peaked so far at number 13 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and may continue to climb the list, particularly as Underwood’s tour continues through November.

Tonight at the CMAs, the country songstress is pulling triple-duty. In addition to being a performer, Underwood is also a nominee and co-host. This is the ninth time she’s emceeing the annual event with Brad Paisley, and she’s also nominated for the night’s top award, Entertainer of the Year.
