Ronnie Dunn Learned One Lesson The Hard Way

When Brooks and Dunn were just getting their start in music, there's one piece of advice that Ronnie Dunn wishes someone had given them. Now he shares this helpful tip with any new artist who asks. 

Ronnie has one of the most iconic voices in country music, so when a new artist gets the chance to ask him for career advice, they often take advantage of it.

A lot of singers over the years have asked, when they’re new coming out on the road, they say, “What do you do? What do you do?” I say, well, one thing I learned right off the bat is to drink lots of water. It sounds so remedial and boring, and rest. That’s a little muscle right there. If you stay up all night talking and partying and whatever, it’s gonna have to work twice as hard the next day.

He says he learned the hard way, when it comes to that lesson, and that's why he shares it with any new artist who asks. His new album Tattooed Heart is released tomorrow (Friday).
