Panthers Hold Off Saints On Thursday Night Football

November 18, 2016

The Panthers avoided another fourth-quarter collapse in their 23-20 win against the Saints on "Thursday Night Football" at Bank of America Stadium. Carolina jumped out to a 23-3 lead, including a 40-yard strike from Cam Newton to Ted Ginn Junior in the final minute of the first half.

The Panthers have improved to 4-and-6 after their 1-and-5 start.  Drew Brees threw two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help New Orleans cut the lead to three but that was as close as they would get.  The Saints are also 4-and-6.
